If you can't afford to build your own airplane it is not because it costs too much money. It's because you don't make enough money to live your dream. If you can't live your dream you'll never be happy. Bottom line: To build the airplane of your dreams you have to build an income that can make your dreams come true. Flying excites me!
Flew the Cessna 172 this morning for a short flight. Flew out over our "mud plant" and then came back and did a power off - full flap short field landing just for kicks. Squiked it!!
